Produced by K'riem Scott, this song is actually over a decade old, but wasn't recorded until this year. It was supposed to be part of a followup project to my first album, The Bandwagon.....Director's Cut, hence the title.

The vision back then was my first album would generate a fanbase of people who joined the "bandwagon" while there was still space. This song was to serve as the bandwagon theme song!

Welp, that's not quite how it played out, but I still love this song. Hopefully you will too!

In conclusion, I can confidently say this song wouldn't sound as good if I recorded it when I first wrote it because I had not yet honed my studio voice. I'm at a stage of my career where I know which personality to bring to each song. This song was written to be fun and I feel like I delivered that energy.
